We are straightforward throughout the entire process of purchasing, selling, and trading timepieces. Use of our website and any action with SJBTimepieces LLC. indicates that you accept these terms and conditions, which may be revised at any time. Please read these terms carefully.
Payments
SJBTimepieces accepts all major credit cards for modern accessories or non-vintage orders; however, all vintage timepieces may require payment to be made via bank wire transfer. Buyers are responsible for any wire/bank wire transfer fees. No items will be sent prior to the receipt of funds. Note: Should our online checkout system inadvertently process a credit card payment for a vintage timepiece, we reserve the right to cancel the transaction and require a switch to Bank Wire to comply with our security protocols.
Shipping & Security
Timepieces will be express shipped promptly upon funds clearing our bank account. All watches are shipped fully insured for the full value of the specific piece.
• Address Restrictions: For the protection of our inventory and our clients, we do not ship to PO Boxes, Private Mail Boxes (PMBs), or third-party forwarding services.
• Verification: All shipments must be sent to a verified residential or physical business address.
• Signature Required: Every high-value shipment is sent with Adult Signature Required (21+). Once a package is signed for at the destination address, the item is considered "Delivered" and the transaction complete.
• Internal Auditing: For security purposes, the entire inspection and packing process for every outgoing shipment is recorded via high-definition video to verify the contents and condition of the parcel.
Vintage Timepiece Inspection Period
You will have a 3-day inspection period for your watch. If you are not satisfied, please communicate this back to us immediately via a phone call or email to obtain a refund authorization before shipping the watch back to our facility. Shipping for returns is to be paid for by the buyer and must be sent via fully insured overnight or priority international delivery. The buyer agrees to assume any risks in shipping. No refund will be made after the 3-day inspection period ends.
Refund & Return Inspection Policy
We will conduct a thorough inspection of any returned item, including watch straps and accessories. Provided the watch and/or item sold is returned in the exact same condition (as verified by our outbound packing logs), we will issue a full refund for the timepiece less original shipping and insurance costs. The buyer assumes all risks in returning the item.
International Buyers
International buyers assume all responsibility for any and all duties, taxes, tariffs or customs due. The buyer takes all responsibility for shipping in the event of a customs issue or return. Payments are to be made in U.S. Dollars.
Taxes
California buyers are subject to Los Angeles County and California State sales tax.
